I love to connect with people. One day, I was scrolling my Facebook feed. I saw a post by Toastmaster Pradeep Shetty about Toastmasters’ online meeting. I just clicked the link to see “What is there for me?” I registered myself for that meeting as I was waiting curiously to attend and see their meeting process.

I joined the Chalk and Duster Toastmasters Club in May 2022. Within first two meetings, I decided to be part of this community as the meeting day was Saturday 8 pm. I was comfortable to join this all the time. Within two months, I became a club officer which is the first step in the Toastmasters hierarchy. I started loving it. The day came when my mentor DTM Raj Bharat nominated me for the post of Club President. I was unsure about my capabilities on this part. His belief in me pushed me to jump into that role and prove to myself that I can do it. For everyone surprise, within one year my ExCom team and I together achieved President distinguished club status. It was the biggest achievement for me.
